My 11 1/2 month olds habit?how do i break it?

Since he was born, he liked to fall asleep with a bottle in his mouth with formula in it. He doesnt like to drink water so i can't substitute it. Hes almost a year and i need to slow down on the formula he drinks, if not get rid of it completely. How do i do this if he only falls asleep with formula?
