Were the Braves right to suspend their pitching coach Roger McDowell for exercising his right to free speech?

Free speech does not mean you can say anything, anywhere at anytime. For example you can't yell FIRE in a crowded movie theater. There are also terms in contracts you sign when you take a job that limit your behavior. You agree to this when you take the job. He violated those terms. He gets punished.
